We didn’t stay at Kackar Kamp, so I can’t comment on the accommodation, but we’d try camping there next time we’re in Şile. We’d stayed next door at SahilKamp Istanbul, which felt more like a 2-star experience, and unfortunately had no alcohol or fun. Kackar Kamp felt like an escape from the coldness next door and the other weird stuff going on there. We had kellepaca soup, salad, and BBQ chicken one night, then some nice beers and cerez on other visits. It was fun getting to know the staff, especially Cengiz Abi, and watching some campers chair-dance late into the evening. We also had tea while waiting for our bus back to Istanbul. I can wholeheartedly recommend it for all of that. ☺️

The music was cool, and the food, drinks, and other things weren’t too expensive. I spent a night here with my girlfriend and two friends, and we had a really nice time. Cengiz, the cafe owner, was a cool, friendly guy with everyone, and even gave us tea on the house. Thanks for that. I’ll definitely come back. Thank you all.
