Grandma's Wonderland

The property itself is gorgeous, and getting out of city life to stay at Grandma's Wonderland in Silivri was a real treat. For a visit, it’s lovely, but I didn’t think staying there was worth what we paid. The service and room fell short. The room didn’t seem to have had a thorough clean in some time, and bugs came out of the jacuzzi jets when we turned it on. The layout was awkward too, with a low ceiling over the toilet that we bumped our heads on several times. We also couldn’t find anyone on staff to help with simple things like getting more toilet paper or checking out.

The ravioli and baklava are especially worth ordering, and everything else we tried was a safe bet too. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care in how each dish is put together. It’s a place made by people with real inspiration, and worth every penny and every kilometer of the trip.

The staff welcomed us so warmly from the moment we arrived and made sure we had a wonderful time. The food, drinks, service, and atmosphere were all amazing, and the stay gave us moments and nights we won’t forget. It stirred up a lot of emotion and left us with lifelong memories. The breakfast was delicious, with a great range of choices, and my room was clean, comfortable, and full of character. Everyone was welcoming and attentive, always ready with useful recommendations and a smile. Grandma’s Wonderland is charmingly decorated and feels like a cozy oasis in the heart of Istanbul. I had an unforgettable stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable visit.
