Bademli Bahçe Otel

Sogut felt extremely limited, and the food was below average for Turkey while being very overpriced. Even the walk into town and back was a challenge, including for fit people. We wouldn't recommend this hotel. The quiet atmosphere felt more like a retreat than a holiday, with no real laughter and everyone talking in hushed voices. The hosts seemed disinterested in us and mostly wanted to talk about themselves. They knew nothing about us. For the price, we expected more luxury and privacy. Our rooms were small, and the plain dark wood furniture made them rather gloomy, especially in the first room, where a tree was about all we could see. The towels were terribly rough, and the second room had a horrible yellow bottom sheet. Breakfast was nice, but nearly the same every day, and the portions were meagre, right down to one egg in an omelette, fried egg, or whatever. We stayed more than a week.

The hosts gave us plenty of helpful tips about excursions and places to eat. We spent a week at Bademli Bahce enjoying the peace and comfort, with clean, comfortable rooms. There are cozy chairs spread around the grounds, all looking out over a remarkable view, and loungers by the pool for anyone who wants to swim. This Otel has a lot going for it.

We spent a week at Bademli Bahce and didn't feel like leaving. The gardens are gorgeous, full of colorful flowers and old olive and almond trees, with comfortable sofas in the shade. The pool is large and very clean, with loungers around it. Our room was spotless, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the bathroom had good towels and toiletries. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented each day. We already miss the place and will definitely return.

Richard and Gulsah made our 12 days so relaxing, and the food was spectacular, healthy too. The website photos are great, but you really have to be there to get the full atmosphere. It was one of the most restful holidays we've ever had. Please could we have the hummus recipe? Just book it.
