Ramada by Wyndham Soma

The staff were pleasant and really helpful when our car was hit. The receptionists helped us speak with the local Police and get a damage report for the rental company. Breakfast was tasty, and the room was clean, with a comfortable bed, soft pillows, plenty of towels, and good central heating that kept it warm even in winter. There's a large free parking lot behind the hotel. We did hear a little traffic through the windows, and there were no paper napkins in the room. Ramada by Wyndham Soma is a modern, nice hotel, and we'd stay here again.

The restaurant menu was a real highlight. We could order to the room, and the food was excellent, with lower prices than at most restaurants. Drinks in the room fridge were close to supermarket prices, too. Breakfast was included, fresh, tasty, and had lots of variety. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. A clean baby bed was already waiting in our spotless room, which had no lingering cigarette smell. When I got locked out while my wife and baby were asleep inside with the keycard, reception gave me another one free and without a fuss. We were there for one night on the way back from vacation, and the hotel was a pleasant surprise that lived up to the good reviews. There's a Starbucks open until 1 am, plenty of parking, and the hotel is easy to reach right by the highway, with a gas station and store next door. It wasn't crowded or loud, though the walls aren't very thick. The pool, gym, and spa were available, but we didn't use them. A very pleasant stay for the money.

The room felt too dark, with not enough lighting, and water spilled out of the shower because it had no door. There was no hand hose either, which made it hard to rinse off. Breakfast wasn't especially good quality, but there was enough. The place was very clean, though. Thanks anyway.

Seray at the front desk spent over an hour helping us on her phone the next day, when we had more trouble with the charging company. We were so grateful for her kindness and wouldn't have been able to get back on track without her. The night before, rental car problems had stopped us from reaching Izmir from Istanbul, so we needed somewhere to stay. We were glad to find a last-minute room and were welcomed by very friendly staff. The room was clean and nice, and even though it was well past midnight, the bartender was friendly and helpful. Thank you, Ramada and Seray. Highly recommend this place.
