The location was a real plus: a quiet neighborhood, less than a five-minute walk from taksim square, and the prices seemed fair. But the stay itself felt unpleasant and unprofessional. There was no front desk in the hotel, so we had to go to reception at the neighboring suites building whenever we needed something. At check-in, I rang the bell several times with no answer, then called the number on the door. They contacted the neighboring suites receptionist, who came out carrying noodle soup to check us in. The room was a bit tight with more than one large suitcase, though that wasn't a deal breaker for me. Cleaning was mostly taking out the rubbish and leaving fresh shampoo. Dust kept building up on the shelves and floor, and we had to ask the neighboring suites for toilet paper every day because the cleaner didn't leave any. I'm sad to write this, because I met the owner once as I was leaving and he seemed like a really nice guy. I don't know why he wasn't around during my stay. I imagine things might have been different if he had been there.

The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the bed was especially cozy. Staff were kind and accommodating, while check-in and check-out were quick and easy. It's a good value for the price, with Takism main street just a few minutes away on foot and the Galata tower area also an easy walk. I'd consider staying here again on my next trip to Istanbul.

Getting around was easy, with transportation across Istanbul just two minutes away and available 24/7. The location was very good, with everything close at hand. At the Row Taksim Hotel, the room was comfortable and clean, and the atmosphere was friendly. The staff were helpful, and the owner in particular was incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend it. I only wish I could've stayed longer and explored Istanbul more.

The place was clean and cozy, and everything matched its description. It's run by two siblings who were some of the kindest, most helpful hosts I've met. They made the whole experience smooth and were ready to help with anything they could. I'll choose this place again whenever I'm in Taksim.

We paid $35 a night and stayed for 14 nights. The rooms were clean, and the staff were always smiling, helpful, and supportive. For an economy traveler, this little hotel is a good find. It's just a three-minute walk from Taksim Square, though there's no elevator. I've often found people in turkey don't smile much or treat tourists very warmly, but this hotel's staff were super friendly. Maybe it's because they aren't turkish.
