I stayed on 8.04.2023. The bed was a mattress on top of another mattress, and it was “decorated” by a cat. Look at the pictures. There was no heating at all, and the sheets were dirty. The rooms smelled of tobacco, and the blankets smelled too. The windows were broken: some couldn’t be opened, while others had a 1 cm gap. After I left the room to walk around, I returned to find the curtains closed. Don’t leave anything valuable in the room when you’re away. Nothing in this hotel works. NEVER NEVER NEVER VISIT THIS HOTEL.

We ended up moving to another hotel in the middle of the night because the room was so disgusting. It was extremely dirty and smelly, and we found used personal toilet items from previous visitors on the floor. Nothing worked. In August there was no air conditioner or cooler. The bathroom had no light and no hand soap. NEVER VISIT THIS HOTEL!

The beach behind the hotel is peaceful and charming, especially for families, and the beach in front is beautiful too, with things to enjoy even in winter. Though it’s on a main street, we didn’t notice disruptive noise or construction dust. Getting around was easy by minibus or public bus. I’d stayed here two or three years ago and wasn’t very impressed, so the recent visit was a positive surprise. I learned that management had changed. The hotel was extremely clean, with an authentic interior that brought a nice sense of nostalgia, and a lovely smell throughout. The gentleman who welcomed us was warm, friendly, professional, and very helpful during our stay. It’s a place where I’d feel comfortable staying with my family, and the value felt better than the price.
