When we paid full price, we expected decent service, not moldy cheese and a sour meze that burned my mouth. My mom and I had breakfast here on her birthday, and unfortunately it was our first and last visit. After I told the receptionist, perhaps the manager, she defended herself and raised her voice. That was unprofessional. Feedback should be a chance to win customers over. The hotel doesn’t deserve even one star, and guests should watch out for expired food. I’m also very disappointed by your response. Calling my account a “false declaration” is inaccurate and inappropriate. As a paying guest, I expected a fair, respectful resolution, not an unfounded accusation. I understand that breakfast service follows protocols, but that doesn’t excuse the dismissive tone or failure to engage with my concerns. We chose your establishment expecting quality service and courteous communication, especially when raising a complaint. My feedback wasn’t taken seriously. Please have someone review it again with the professionalism and fairness I’d expect from a hotel of your standing. Thank you.

The area is very quiet, although the road is busy. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and nothing was too much trouble. I’d recommend it if you’re after a more rustic, traditional Turkish experience.

We pulled in at 1 a.m. during a road trip from Istanbul to Anzac Cove (Gallipoli), and reception was open 24/7. The rooms are on the small side, but it’s a nice, clean, basic hotel on a busy street across from the sea.
