Le Marden Hotel Spa

I had a room with a lovely mountain view, so sitting on the balcony was a treat. It had everything I needed, the cleaning was fine, and the mattresses were perfect for a good night's sleep. The owners were hospitable. The beach is a 15-minute walk away, and the bus stop and two supermarkets are within a 5-10-minute walk. I enjoyed my stay and definitely recommend the hotel.

The spa wasn't fully open, and the hotel was so messy that even finding breakfast was confusing. It turned out to be at the hotel next door. The sauna was nice.

The room was small but clean, though the bathroom smelled really bad and the room's coffee set was incomplete, as shown in my picture. The staff at the lobby and breakfast were unfriendly, nearly impolite, and not professional enough for a hotel of this standard. Breakfast was disappointing: some items weren't available, the cucumbers and tomatoes didn't look fresh, and the staff member was on his phone the whole time and didn't even respond when we said hello. At more than 70 euros per night, the hotel is way overpriced.

I booked for a week and enjoyed it so much that I added another week. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the rooms are neat and clean. As a clean freak, I'd recommend this place. The friendly, attentive staff made the stay pleasant, and the clean pool has room to stretch out and relax without getting in anyone's way. There's also a hamam, sauna, and jacuzzi, which are great to use before bed. Special thanks to Faruk for making my stay such a nice experience. See you guys next year!
