We stayed one night. The location is good, and breakfast was fine with a decent variety. Parking is a bit tight, and staff ask you to leave your car keys so they can move cars around. If you'd rather not hand over your keys, you can leave your number, but you need to go to the car if they call. The room was okay, though clearly showing its age. The refrigerator didn't work, and although an ashtray in the room is normally fine, there was definitely residue and a cigarette smell. We asked for another room because it smelled of cigars, but staff said we'd have to pay again since we'd already moved into the first room.

The location is perfect, right in the middle of the city center and close to everything. Madame Perihan, the manager, speaks French perfectly and is a very gentle person. I was amazed by her gentle attitude and civilized manner 🙏

The front desk staff made this stay for me. They were genuinely kind and welcoming, and I’m grateful for their hospitality. I also liked my room and really enjoyed the dining area. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty to choose from. The hotel is well placed for the two malls, the river, bar-street, and more. I stayed for a while and was very happy here.

The location worked really well, with restaurants nearby offering everything from Italian food and local dishes to fast food, hotdogs, and donuts. The hotel’s private taxi service was a big help: they arranged rides to different places at short notice, for about the same price as a taxi. The front desk lady was especially nice and attentive. Staff were courteous and helpful, the room was very clean and had all the essentials, and breakfast was nice. I had a very good stay at Tymbris.

I don’t usually write hotel reviews, but this stay made me want to. The place was very clean and close to everything. The staff were welcoming and polite, which meant a lot to me as a foreigner. One man who spoke French, English and Turkish was especially kind to me and my husband. 🥰
