Samara Hotel Bodrum Ultra All Inclusive

We had a wonderful honeymoon here, and enjoyed the resort from our very first visit. Everything was excellent, and the staff were so friendly and helpful to both my husband and me. The reception team were especially accommodating. I highly recommend staying here. We'll be back in July. 🥹🥹🥹🥹❤️

After one night in a room that was nothing like the one we'd booked, the hotel was happy to move us to a much better room. The holiday ended up being enjoyable, with plenty to eat and drink, but this isn't close to a five-star hotel yet. The room noise insulation was nonexistent, the TV kept losing its signal, and the WiFi was unstable with poor coverage. There weren't enough sun beds for the number of guests. The entertainment rooms were old and outdated. At dinner there was no cutlery, and tables were dirty. Baklava was available at 7pm but gone by 8pm with no refill. The orange juice wasn't fully fresh, as it was mixed with concentrate. There's potential here, but a long way to go. I'd call it a solid four stars at present.

There was plenty to do, and the shop, sauna, and doctors were useful. The room was nice and clean, and the cleaning staff were lovely. On the downside, the food was sometimes cold, repetitive, and not that tasty or a good representation of Turkish cuisine. Dishes had no labels, and when I asked what they were, staff weren't sure. Cats kept jumping onto chairs, and the hot tub water wasn't clean. They also didn't tell us that most of the a la carte places would be closed.

The hotel was so good that we've booked for next year. The room was very spacious, and the animation team were all really good. There was always plenty of food, and the evening ice cream with a little Baileys added was lovely. A friendly hotel, with a special mention for FREZA and CATHERINE, the front of house manager.
