Rodosto Hotel

The weekend was spoiled, and we cut our stay short after one night even though we’d planned to stay longer. We’d already paid, but I spent the whole night suffering from the smell. No one even asked how we were doing. In the end, it felt like nobody cared. The hotel’s location is lovely, and so is the breakfast area. The rooms were clean, and my friends and I had asked for non-smoking rooms because we don’t smoke. We checked in a little late and were told those rooms weren’t available because the hotel was full for the weekend, so they couldn’t move us. The manager said he’d do his best to remove the smell, but people had been smoking in the room since the first day and the odor was far too strong. I’m very sensitive to those smells. When we came back, nothing had really changed. They’d used some aerosol that disappeared quickly, while the smell remained all the time. I was really disappointed. If you smoke, go ahead and try it, but if you don’t, it’s better to avoid this place. I can’t recommend the hotel. I’m giving it one star because one downside outweighed every good thing I found there.

The breakfast was excellent, and the room service was up to a high standard. I also really appreciated the views and the hospitality. You can choose this hotel without hesitation. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Tekirdag. Best wishes.

Room 301 really stands out, especially with its terrace. The bed was very good, and the mattress worked even for my troublesome back. The staff were great, and the hotel had very strict COVID measures in place.

The main drawback was the poor sound insulation. When someone walked on the stairs, it nearly sounded as if they were coming into the room. Otherwise, it was comfortable and clean, in a great location, with a decent sea view. Breakfast was good, even for someone with a wheat allergy. The shower was nice, the Wi-Fi worked well, and the staff were hospitable.
