Odrys Beach Hotel & Resort

The sea is only a few steps away, and you can see it from the hotel windows. I found the outdoor areas especially peaceful and relaxing, and the room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly, and the stay felt comfortable and quiet. The hotel is called Ordrys Beach Hotel & Resort. From Tekirdag otogar, a taxi takes about 15 minutes; bus 1-3 goes directly to the nearest stop, Vedat Celiker, in around 25 minutes. The buffet breakfast is offered at a very reasonable price. A lovely place for a holiday.

I stayed at Odrys Beach Hotel for three nights, and I’d choose it again when I come back to Türkiye. The view is magnificent, and I watched the Marmara Sea while eating. The waiters were smiling and a little disciplined, which I think is normal. The menus looked varied and delicious. My room was very clean, and everything was ironed and perfect. It seemed like they were doing a few minor renovations. Thank you, Türkiye Tekirdağ.

We were satisfied with our stay, especially because the room looked out over the sea and the city lights at night. The staff were kind, and although their English wasn’t very good, the receptionist helped us order a taxi. It’s a simple, affordable hotel for a night or two, right on the beach with loungers, though the sea water was quite dirty. The rooms seem due for renovation. There’s a pier restaurant on the beach that could become a lovely romantic dinner spot if it were renovated. Breakfast was very good, but the coffee was instant and you had to make it yourself. A coffee machine would be nice.

The room was basic, and there was no water provided on the second day. Outside, there was a sewage smell, and parking was poor. The receptionist with an earring seemed to be in the wrong job, though the other guy was okay.
