The price felt a bit high given the problems, and a quick search turned up several better hotels for less. The staff weren't rude, but they didn't acknowledge guests, greet them, or make eye contact at reception. The hotel and rooms looked nice, but the infrastructure fell short. The shower drain smelled terrible, the toilet leaked, and broken ventilation left the rooms smelling very unpleasant. Disappointing overall.

The only thing that really bothered us was the welcome information sheet in the room. It was available in Arabic and English, but not Turkish. The receptionist explained things clearly in Turkish, yet we still felt Turkish should have been included in the written information. We hope they improve that. Everything else left us pleased with our quick two-day weekend stay at Almircan Hotel Ortahisar. Before arrival, they sent room videos on WhatsApp so we knew what to expect. Check-in went smoothly, and the friendly Syrian receptionist communicated well in Turkish and was very helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable, with working TV and internet. The hotel is right in the city center and easy to reach, with a parking lot that made things more convenient. Breakfast was decent with a good variety, and we'd consider staying again.

Very clean rooms and super friendly, helpful staff. It's a great little boutique hotel in the old city of Trabzon, perfectly placed close to everything, and a very good deal.

Hotel Mircan made it easy to enjoy Trabzon without a car. I picked up a leefa (bath mitt) at a little shop nearby and went to a traditional Turkish hammam the same day. Shops, cafes, and restaurants were only a short walk away, since the hotel is right by Trabzon Square (Meydan), in the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place felt clean, comfortable, and welcoming. I had an excellent stay and would recommend Hotel Mircan to anyone wanting a central base.

The staff were warm and made the night more enjoyable. Our suite was spotless and very comfortable, with a stunning view. It was a truly exceptional stay.
