I only visited the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the rooms. It’s tucked among the trees in a beautiful area, with lovely summer weather. The little hotel has a great restaurant and very nice service.

The natural setting and breakfast were both five-star, but the stay as a whole disappointed me. On our first night, staff lit a fire outside for another guest, who invited us to join. That turned into a great evening. The second and last night felt very different. We might have been the only guests, but the staff mostly seemed focused on socializing with friends, and we felt ignored. Their gathering carried on late with loud music and noise right outside our window. I felt as if having us there was an inconvenience to the staff and their party.

We only stayed one day, and I wish we’d had longer. It’s a very quiet countryside hotel in a remote setting, with a great breakfast and friendly, helpful staff, including the owner. The drive there is a bit of an adventure, but manageable in a rental car. You can also get there by taxi.

The scenery is the reason to make the trip up the mountain. You wake up looking across the whole valley and the neighboring mountains, and on some days you’re above the clouds. Their lovely garden feels like another world, and there’s a sweet dog too. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and cozy, with rooms that feel like a home away from home. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and came across as clean, punctual, and attentive. Breakfast had a delicious range of locally made food. A hidden gem for Turkish countryside scenery and food.
