The location wasn’t convenient, since it’s far from meydan place, and the view was bad. The pool was colored, and the bathroom water tasted salty, almost like seawater. For four days the food stayed the same and wasn’t good quality. There was no iron in the room, and when we asked for a hot water kettle, the staff ignored us. The safety cabinet didn’t work, and we weren’t hosted properly. Staff had a very bad attitude and spoke neither English nor Arabic. Worst experience, with very poor service.

The shower was barely usable, with weak water pressure that swung between extremely hot and cold. My room’s fridge was broken, so I couldn’t keep drinks chilled, and the sour cream at breakfast had spoiled and killed my appetite. I had picked this hotel for its pool, but it turned out to be unavailable because of problems, and the page hadn’t been updated. It was a very unpleasant stay. I wouldn’t return or recommend it.

It’s a 22-year-old hotel, and I’d guess Covid and the turkey earthquake caused some problems. With the right investment, it could shine again. Still, I wouldn’t call it the worst.

The breakfast menu was limited, and we even had to ask for salt and black pepper. The staff weren’t cooperative, and the receptionist handling customer care couldn’t speak English. One elevator was working while the other was out of service, and the power went off for over 15 minutes at night. I didn’t like the colored pool, and the sea view was poor. There was no Wi-Fi either. To me, it felt like a 2-star hotel, not a 4-star one.

The food stayed the same for four days and wasn’t high quality. Housekeeping didn’t respond well, and the staff didn’t host us properly. Maintenance was poor, the hotel’s AC wasn’t working, and the safety cabinets were broken in three rooms. I wouldn’t give it more than 2 stars.
