Sulduz Hotel

We spent 7 nights at Sulduz Hotel and had a great experience. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, always ready to help, and made us feel at home. Our room stayed clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout. The price was very affordable for such a central spot in the heart of Meydan Center, with sightseeing and dining easy to reach. I highly recommend Sulduz Hotel if you want an affordable, clean, centrally located place with excellent service while visiting Trabzon.

The room quality is poor, and I understand the complaints about mould. Still, the staff are friendly, they try to keep things clean and tidy, and breakfast is passable. I’m sure fixing everything would mean the room couldn’t cost 20$ for two people with breakfast in the very city centre. For what you pay, it’s absolutely worth it.

The owner really looks after each guest. He asked us all kinds of questions about our plans and comfort, then did everything he could to help us feel at home. He’s also a talented barista and treated us to fantastic coffee for free. Wonderful place, one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. If you visit Trabzon, choose Sulduz hotel.

We paid EUR 24 for one night. The location is excellent, with lokantasi and a coffee shop within walking distance, and taxis and other transport nearby. Our room slept four, the hot water worked well, and the wifi was quite fast. The receptionist was very helpful, and breakfast was simple but good. The lift is narrow, barely enough for two people with luggage, and the rooms seemed to get little outside air. If you want an affordable place in a good location, this is a good option.
