Cumbali Luxury Boutique Hotel

Omg, I can't get over that night. There were mice on the fifth floor, and at about 4:30 in the morning we ran out because we couldn't sleep. We got through three room changes, including an upgrade to the fifth floor, but every room had sheets covered in men's hair. They said there was a problem with the laundry company. The windows were broken and wouldn't close, and the bed linen had smoking burns. They didn't call us or offer our money back. My advice is to sleep on the street, not at this hotel.

We spent three days at Cumbali last week on a business trip. It was cozy and quiet, in a safe location near metroistanbul, with everything we needed in the neighborhood. Our room was clean and practical, and the staff helped with all our needs. Cumbali works for business or sightseeing trips.

The staff were extremely helpful and kind. When we asked, they let us take plates from the breakfast buffet area because the kitchen had none. The rooms themselves were clean, nicely renovated, and felt luxurious. The hotel is close to the metro, a big bazaar, and pretty much everything else. The kitchen was otherwise useless for cooking: there were no pots, pans, utensils, or plates, just two mugs and a teaspoon for a room meant for five people. The internet was unusable in our rooms, very slow and unstable, and in many places it didn't work at all. Only the lobby WiFi was decent. We found a bag of washing machine powder in the toilet on arrival, but a few days later it was gone when we wanted to use it. We believe we had the do not disturb sign on the door the whole time. We don't think the staff would take it, and they all said they knew nothing about it; they did give us a cup. Another guest passing by said the staff were trustworthy, as he often books the hotel for business trips.

The location is excellent, close to Osmanbey metro, and the room was a good size for three people with nice facilities. Staff were welcoming, and breakfast was simple but good. Cleaning could have been better, and the towels smelled unpleasant. For a 3 star hotel, it was good overall. I forgot to take pictures, but I really liked the room.
