Elite World Village İstanbul Polonezköy

The place is easy to reach from istanbul, right by the road, and the grounds are nicely decorated. I came with my sister for a quiet getaway. It felt secluded, the waiters were really attentive, and dinner at the restaurant was delicious. There was a slight smell from the animal farm next to the resort, but I guess that made it feel even closer to nature ^_^. I’d recommend it!

The noise from neighboring rooms carries straight through, so you can hear everything people are doing. The dogs were the other big issue for me. There are lots of street dogs around the hotel, and they follow you when you open your room door. They also sit right behind you while you eat, waiting for food. I found it really annoying and couldn’t enjoy a meal with dogs almost touching me. If you don’t like dogs, this place probably isn’t for you.

I only stayed two days and regretted it. The staff were friendly, and the surroundings were calm and close to nature, but there were flies all over the place. The balcony table was dirty, and both the bed sheets and pillows smelled. The bathroom equipment was poor, too. There was no ventilator in the toilet, and the smell filled the room.

I liked the hamam bath and the food, and the people were really nice. But during my massage, people kept interrupting, and the therapist had to deal with each interruption instead of being fully present with me. The restaurant food was good.
