We lost precious vacation time here, first looking for somewhere to stay in the middle of the night and then returning to argue about getting our money back. We came with my family after seeing positive reviews on Google and booking.com. We had no reservation, but the manager found us a two-bedroom apartment. After paying and going in, we found one bedroom had no clean sheets and there were no towels at all. We told the manager around 7:30pm, and he said it would all be ready in an hour. We went for dinner and returned at midnight. Nothing had changed, and nobody had come to prepare the rooms. The manager was gone by then. A group of men were sitting outside, and only one spoke English. He tried to help and called someone, but was told it would be sorted the next day. We would have had to go without a shower and sleep without sheets after paying, so we decided to leave. Someone on the phone said our money would be returned the next day because he wasn't there anymore. When we came back, they gave us only 100 dollars out of 110 and said they were being generous because they could have kept it all. While discussing the price, the owner had presented cleanliness as the place's strong point, but the apartment didn't match the reviews or pictures online. There were ants in the kitchen and bedrooms, the carpet was dirty, and random hairs were lying around. Pillow covers in the bedroom that had sheets had yellow stains. Stay away.

As locals from Rize, we spent three nights here and were extremely happy with our stay. The apartment was outstanding, the staff were exceptional, and the location was excellent. Everything went beyond what we expected. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

The staff and location were nice, and I would have rated it five stars, but I really couldn't sleep, so I gave it three. There isn't good sound insulation. You can hear every movement and even conversations from other apartments, which is very annoying.

We stayed at Umut Apartments for four nights in July during our recent trip to Trabzon, and had a very comfortable, memorable time. The apartments were clean throughout, with a pleasant fresh smell. The size may feel small to some, though it was stated beforehand. After a shower, we had a water leak in the bathroom, but the staff fixed it right away when we reported it. Parking is on the road in front of the apartments. We found it safe and always available, which gave us peace of mind. Nearby supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes made it easy to get what we needed and find places to eat. The apartment WiFi was great, and the TV had YouTube, Netflix, and more. The team were cooperative and quick to bring anything we were missing. We asked for a fry pan, tea spoons, and a tissue box, and they brought them with a big smile. Omran and Rumaisaa deserve a special mention for their excellent help. Rumaisaa promptly answered our questions and requests on WhatsApp, and gave us recommendations for restaurants, car parks, and places to visit. Their service was better than we expected. There were practically no negatives, and I highly recommend Umut Apartments for a stay in Trabzon.

My wife and I had a great time staying at umut apartments. The owner and staff responded quickly and sorted out problems fast. If I visit Trabzon again, I'll stay here next time.
