The hotel was rubbish and the food was rubbish too. I had to go into town to eat.

The houses are old but clean, and there's room for five to sleep comfortably: one double bed and two singles that can be pushed together to make space for three. An extra bed is available for 1,750 TL per night (2025). There's basic kitchen equipment, including a stove, oven, toaster, toaster, and tea maker. The sea is clear and pleasantly warm, though it's rocky and the large stones make getting in and out difficult. There's only a tiny sandy patch, and the pier is small, so we chose to swim somewhere else. Akcabük beach is sandy and beautiful, although the water there was a little cooler. It's a five-minute walk downhill to the sea, but the way back is very steep.

The setting is pleasant and the location is good. There's a pier, but the beach is pebbly, so it won't suit anyone who dislikes stones. The service is okay, though it has a do-it-yourself, homely feel. There isn't air conditioning, and they just don't seem solution-oriented.

We've been coming for years, but the building is starting to feel old. The view is excellent, though. There's no air conditioning in the rooms, and the shared square can be noisy with people talking until late. If you rent a room, I'd pick an upper floor away from that area.
