Veltur Small Beach

I can only speak about the private beach, since I didn’t stay at the hotel. The beach is pretty, as you’d expect in Türkiye. My sisters and I spent about 6 hours there with our mother, who had to leave because of water issues at our beach house. Before leaving, she ordered us fries and asked the bill amount. They said 60 lira, which sounded right. My sisters and I ordered nothing else, but when we paid, they charged 75 lira. We didn’t feel comfortable making an issue of it, so we paid. When my mother heard the amount at home, she was livid. We didn’t return for the rest of the summer, and I didn’t feel comfortable there anymore. Again, I’m only talking about the private beach. Beware if you don’t speak fluent Turkish.

This is our second stay here. The hotel is right by the sea, with clean rooms, breakfast included, and a great range of food at the restaurant and bar. You can order food and drinks right from the beach. The service has been great, and all the staff are friendly and helpful. I especially like receptionist Elif Hanim, who is super nice and helpful. I definitely recommend the hotel.

We’re on day 5 of a week at Small Beach Hotel, and the views are great, the beach is clean, and our room is spacious, clean, and well looked after by Lale Hanım. Elif Hanım has been exceptional, helping with our hotel booking, local attractions, restaurants, concerts, and general advice. She knows Bodrum and Turgutreis really well. Tuncay serves us breakfast each morning with a big smile. He’s polite, attentive, and witty. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Small Beach Hotel. We’ll definitely come back.

The water was so clear and clean, and the beach never felt too busy. The staff were friendly too. I really liked it and would definitely recommend it.
