Patina Cappadocia is a small, charming boutique hotel in Uçhisar, Nevşehir. The setting is stunning, with crisp, refreshing air and hot air balloons floating outside your window in the morning. The staff made our stay special, with personal suggestions for local attractions, and breakfast was delicious, with fresh local ingredients and a stunning view. Patina Hotel is perfectly located for exploring the region. The rooms were beautifully done, with modern comforts alongside authentic Cappadocian charm. We had an unforgettable time and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, distinctive place to stay in Cappadocia.

Right next to Uçhisar Castle, the hotel overlooks Göreme Valley and the hot air balloons. It's clean and well maintained, with spacious, comfortable rooms, a lovely view, and a tasty, filling breakfast. Mr. Soner, the hotel manager, and the whole team gave us warm attention and hospitality, and we'd like to thank them. The wider Cappadocia region has improved a lot compared with previous years. The roads, sidewalks, archaeological sites, and parking areas are cleaner, better maintained, and more organized. There's also a wider range of quality meals and restaurants. The area now draws visitors from around the world, not only the Far East. There's plenty to do, including hot air balloon tours, ATV and classic car rides, horse safaris, nature walks, ceramics making, Turkish nights, Whirling Dervish shows, and sunrise and sunset views. Places worth visiting include Uçhisar and its castle, Ortahisar and its castle, Göreme Open Air Museum, Paşabağları, Zelve, Devrent Valley with its camel-shaped fairy chimneys, Kızılçukur Valley, Love Valley, Güvercinlik, Üç Güzeller, Avanos for the Kızılırmak River and pottery and ceramics workshops, Ürgüp, and Mustafapaşa. In Ürgüp and Uçhisar, there are local restaurants showcasing women's work, including Ürgüp Tık Tık Women's Labor and Uçhisar Women's Hand Restaurants. Derinkuyu and Kaymaklı underground cities, along with Ihlara Valley, are also worth seeing.
