The room itself was really nice for the price. It had a kitchen and a large fridge that stayed on while we were out. Most of the staff were friendly, and the cleaning was good, though the cleaner smoked in the hallway. Our bathroom smelled of smoke even though we don’t smoke, and we worried we might get fined for it. Still, we won’t return to this hotel. I can’t go back to a place that deliberately scams guests. If they’d just been honest, I would have given it three stars despite the noise. We were told by the reception lady that breakfast was included, even though we said we hadn’t booked it. We checked with the breakfast lady three times, and each time she said it was included. They brought us more food than we asked for while assuring us it was part of the deal. Later, she told the manager a completely different story, and we were charged 600 lira (€12) for one portion of menemen. Where I live, that’s a scam. The manager kept blaming us for trusting his staff. It felt like they’d hired random people who didn’t know where they worked. The noise was awful too, like a cheap party hostel. There was loud screaming and laughing almost every day until 5:30 in the morning. Such a shame, since we really liked the room. We’ll definitely come back to Istanbul, just not here.

The room was spacious and comfortable, but the service was awful. We asked to have it cleaned and nobody came. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working properly either. We tried to order food through the app using the QR code on the table, then waited nearly an hour. When my boyfriend called, they said the app didn’t work. Why put the code on the table if it’s not usable? This hotel really needs to improve its service and cleaning.

The rooms were immaculate, and the whole place had a calm, refined feel. Roy’s Hotel & Suites manages to feel elegant and comfortable while still offering real warmth and hospitality. Every detail seemed thoughtfully chosen. Thanks to the kind, professional staff for making us feel at home. It was a beautiful experience from beginning to end, and I’ll definitely return.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent, close to the city center. Sadly, the room and hotel felt humid throughout, and it wasn’t worth the price. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Cleanliness fell far short of what I expected. The toilet, shower, sofa, and carpets were dirty, and there was mold in the shower. The mattress was so soft that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Cleaning was supposedly available daily on request, but over three days they didn’t even wash the dishes, let alone clean the bathroom or vacuum the floor. Breakfast was poorly equipped and didn’t start until 9 a.m., much too late.
