Unye Ankara Hotel

We booked it online for a night on our Black Sea trip. The sea view from the back is lovely, and we had hot water, but the rooms were small with single beds, and cleanliness was just average. A bar downstairs played loud music that carried up to our room until 2 or 3 a.m. Breakfast was poorly prepared and a bit skimpy. It works if all you need on the road is a bed and a shower for one night, though they could make better use of that great location.

They told us breakfast was included, but all we found was eggs. When we asked the staff, they said the rest was outside, so we ended up eating breakfast elsewhere.

The room was dirty, with dead insects all over, and the shower stall was broken. The toilet wasn’t working properly either. There was an emergency exit door in our room that opened from both sides, which left us worried someone could get in during the night. The main door’s lock had problems too, and the noisy bar downstairs kept us awake. Breakfast felt unhygienic and unprofessional. My family and I regretted staying even for one night; I would have rather slept in the car. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to families at all.

We picked this hotel out of many options for a family stay, and we regret it. Even though we had booked and paid through HotelZ, they wouldn’t let us stay. We’d already checked in and settled into the room, but then were more or less forced to leave. We’ll never go back.
