The team, led by hotel manager Mrs. Funda Seval, were the heart of our stay. They were incredibly kind and carefully arranged our tours, excursions, and hot air balloon experience. We loved the breakfast too, a table full of cheeses, fig and walnut jam, olives, fresh fruit, bread, raspberry yogurt, and other treats. The bar has a stylish, eclectic feel, and its lounge music and cocktails were exceptional. Our suite, Archangel, had a striking one-piece white marble hot tub and sink. Below it were a hammam, dressing rooms, and a beautiful pool covered in black that made us think of grand palaces from ancient Persian, Turkish, and Greek civilizations. It was lovely for both swimming laps and relaxing. Sacred House was our first stop in Cappadocia, a magical place we'd heard so much about for its carved rocks and hot air balloons. The hotel itself was extraordinary, from its façade and patio to the grand central staircase, library, swimming pool, bar, and restaurant. Every corner had artistic details, from sculptures and stonework to planters, wrought iron, and windows. It was a life-changing experience and an absolute must when visiting Cappadocia, Türkiye.

Gondal, the Guest Relations Officer from Pakistan, made our stay unforgettable. He offered to take loads of photos so we could keep our memories, and took thoughtful care of every detail. The restaurant staff handled each meal with impressive attention, and one night we stopped by the bar around 10 PM for skillfully made, flavorful cocktails that made the evening feel special. Breakfast was beautifully laid out, though the food may not quite suit Chinese tastes. The hotel is comfortable and picture-perfect, with lovely details all around, so there were plenty of chances to take photos. 10/10, would recommend, especially for the service from team members like Gondal.

This is Mrs. Lau’s review, which I’m sending to the hotel on her behalf. She first discovered Sacred House on Rednote, and booking it turned out to be one of her best decisions on her Turkey trip. The hotel is a showstopper, beautifully designed in every corner, yet cozy and comfortable too. She kept reaching for her phone to take photos. The restaurant service stood out, with every meal prepared and served with such care that it felt like a warm, delicious hug after a day out. Her favorite part was Gondal, the front desk manager from Pakistan. She saw him every day, from morning till night, working hard and always wearing a genuine, bright smile. He made her feel welcome and cared for, like a friend, going well beyond the basics. He helped arrange a last-minute excursion, suggested local food, and was there for a friendly chat after a tiring day. Gondal made the stay unforgettable. She says he’s the heart and soul of Sacred House, and would absolutely return.

I really enjoyed the thoughtful design throughout, from the names of the rooms to all the decorations. There’s a great spa, the restaurant is nice, and the staff are friendly and professional. The one thing I’d change is that room service didn’t replace our coffee glasses or towels every day, so we had to ask for fresh ones. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay. I recommend the "Sanctuary" room.

The blanket was uncomfortably heavy, and the sink tap was badly designed, with water splashing everywhere unless you turned it to [text ends here]. As an Asian guest, I felt Asian visitors were treated differently from white guests. White tables were proactively given napkins, bread baskets, and tea, while my table and other Asian tables got nothing, and we had to fetch our own napkins. I also saw another guest challenge the manager after their omelet arrived without cheese, while the neighboring white table got cheese without asking. The manager said they hadn't told him in advance they were coming for breakfast, which seemed absurd to me. I've never heard of that rule at a hotel. The guest argued for nearly an hour, but the manager wouldn't admit fault. The online hype is misleading, and I think there are much better hotels in Cappadocia. I stayed here as an Asian traveler and strongly advise others to avoid it.
