The Red Horse Hotel

Breakfast was a highlight every morning, especially the huge choice of cheeses, and it was all delicious. The hotel grounds are lovely, and our room mixed rustic character with modern comforts. Ertan and the rest of the team were warm and attentive, with Ertan seeming to have thought through every detail. It’s also about a 10-minute drive to beautiful sights in the heart of Kapadokya. We had a phenomenal stay and would highly recommend it.

Ertan made a big difference to our trip. He arranged airport transfers, pointed us toward good restaurants, and even took us around Cappadocia himself, from historic places to elegant rug, pottery, and jewelry shops. His knowledge of the country’s history was impressive, and he made a point of helping with whatever we wanted to see. One person in our group used a scooter or wheelchair, and he went out of his way to assist without being asked. The room and bathroom were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and the hotel is close enough to walk into the center of Urgup. We’ll remember this trip for a long time.

Mr. Ertan’s experience as a professional guide in the region made him feel like our own travel adviser. He’d chat with us over breakfast or evening tea, and he and the staff treated us like valued guests, not just customers. They were kind, helpful, and made us feel at home. Mr. Ertan and Mrs. İsminaz gave our family, including our two children, a warm welcome that lasted until we left, and even the kids grew fond of them. The hotel was new and very clean, the beds were comfortable, and breakfast was so plentiful and delicious that it set us up for long days visiting the sights. Those places are also not far away. I’ve already recommended Red Horse Hotel to friends and family abroad who are planning a Cappadocia trip this coming October. I’m sure we won’t regret the stay, and I want to thank Mr. Ertan and the wonderful staff again for their warm hospitality and exceptional service.
