It's a cosy little hotel, but the rock concert venue just 5 meters away holds shows past 00.30 every night. I can appreciate a Mediterranean lifestyle, but this made it impossible to get a good night's sleep. Breakfast doesn't start until 8.30 either, so I wouldn't recommend it for families with small children or people attending conferences.
We booked two rooms for a family trip. The rooms have been renovated at some point, but now they're old and need freshening up. More frustratingly, there's a live music club next door: the performances end at 12:00 am, but the music literally shakes the room, and street noise continues until 2:00 am. If you want a hotel where you can't sleep, this is the place.
That Turkish breakfast was VERY nice, and the staff were great. The location is wonderful too. The catch is the bar next door playing loud music at night. Someone needs to have a “chat” with them, maybe bring a lawyer along.
Young, warm and really friendly staff made this stay lovely. The hotel is a renovated historic building right in the old town, with cafes, bars and quality shops nearby.
The best part was the location, along with the warm welcome and conversation from Ms. Yosun and Ms. Gizem. But we stayed twice, one night each time, and both rooms had a bad smell. On our second visit the room was extremely small, with no bed that could comfortably fit two adults. Breakfast was quite mediocre too.
