Suolo Urla

We stayed at Suò lo for the second time this year, after our first visit in 2022, and we love it. The new owners are doing a beautiful job, and the staff we spoke with at both the hotel and restaurant were kind and accommodating. Our included breakfast was delicious, served in a lovely leafy garden. The rooms are gorgeous, with high ceilings, a pastel green palette, and beautiful decor. On our 2022 stay we did run into a couple of things mentioned in other negative reviews, a bee hive outside our window and a toilet smell. We had the same room this year, and both problems were gone. Can’t wait to come back soon :)

The flavors here are impressive, and the food is undeniably delicious. Still, for what we paid, I expected more value and the overall quality didn’t quite match the price. If you’re happy to splurge on something tasty, it may be worth a visit.

The owner was always friendly and ready to help. We stayed two nights and really liked how comfortable and cozy the room felt. It’s a clean hotel with high ceilings and nice decor.

I visited in June 2022 and didn’t manage to write this review until now. The location was ideal, right in the shopping area with restaurants nearby, but it wasn’t noisy. The rooms were lovely, and I recommend the suite. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shower was cozy with nice amenities. Breakfast on the terrace was very good, the dinner menu was nice, and the wines were good too. The terrace bar is fancy and serves nice cocktails, though be prepared, it’s not cheap :-) The only downside was that the air conditioning leaked and didn’t work properly. That may have been fixed since. I’ll definitely go back!
