The area was noisy, and the staff came across as very unfriendly. Breakfast could have been better. In the room, the bathroom flush was weak, and the shower door leaked so badly that keeping the bathroom dry was difficult. Although it was meant to be non-smoking, there was a strong smell of smoke. Cleaning also needed more care, since sugar and other food were left on the tables. Instead of the free water offered at other hotels in Turkey, this place charged very high minibar prices. Parking was another problem: they directed us to a supposedly free lot, but the next night a colleague tried to charge us. There wasn't another free option nearby.

The included breakfast had plenty of choices, the lobby was decent, the Wi-Fi worked well there, and the cooling worked well too. The sheets and pillows were clean, and the location is in a lively area. But the hallway was filthy, greasy, and clearly hadn't been vacuumed. The room looked clean at first, though the corners, thresholds, shelves, and bathroom doors were dirty enough to make me want to keep my shoes on. The bathroom sliding doors had no lock. For $75/night, the room quality was poor. Also, be careful at checkout if you have a Western passport: they may claim your credit card payment didn't go through and try to charge you again for a night.

Everything in Denizli's city center is within walking distance from this hotel, which is exceptionally central. I also appreciated having parking. The room was spacious enough, comfortable, and convenient. When I asked for two extra pillows, staff brought them within minutes. The receptionists were cheerful, kind, and attentive. Highly recommended.

I've traveled around Turkey from New Zealand, and the hotels can be a mixed bag. If, like me, you're trying to be thrifty, some are horrible, while paying a high price will most likely get you something good. This place was quality all the way: clean and modern, with soap in the bathroom, free drinking water, tea and coffee, and the bed made every day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and breakfast was great. I know hotels, like a lot of things in Turkey, pay for positive Google reviews and negative ones for their opposition, but I stayed here myself. I have to give it a big fat 5 for everything, and I highly recommend it.
