Royal Palas Hotel

After a disappointing stay at the Hilton outside town, my friend and I spent one night here and found it a much better choice for the price. It's quite new, very clean, and the beds are comfortable. The location and quality were better too, and the front desk manager was friendly and spoke enough English for us to communicate. Highly recommend!

We got great value for our money over three nights here. The staff were friendly and ready to help, even assisting us with parking and printing something we urgently needed. Our room was very clean and carefully tidied each day, and the washing service was high quality. We enjoyed the stay a lot.

The location is great, but the management is very poor, and the positive things written about the hotel aren't true. Our room had several problems: the toilet's plastic seat was broken and water wouldn't drain from the bathroom floor. I told reception several times and nothing was done. That doesn't feel clean at all. Two stars for the location, but that's enough.

We went in winter, so I can't say how warm the rooms get in summer. There was no air conditioning. The rooms, toilets and bathrooms had comfortable space, and each room had a terrace. The staff were friendly and polite, and breakfast was quite acceptable. The hotel is centrally placed on Cumhuriyet street with good access, and its design reminded me of hotels in Paris and Brussels.
