UPDATE: The response you gave is NOT true! I decided to cancel my reservation when I arrived because the rooms were disgusting. They smelled, and everything was stained and dirty. You broke your own cancellation policy, refused to refund me, and have been dodging contact from booking.com. Your hotel was disgusting. I have pictures, video, and tons of correspondence to prove it. The only immoral thing here is your blatant lying. You are NOT a 4 star hotel, and I have all the evidence to prove it. I'll go ahead and post all my pictures to show your lies! ------- The bed bugs were the worst part. My elderly mother was bitten all over her legs, which is completely unacceptable and a serious health risk. Even after all the problems, the hotel wouldn't refund us. This place is advertised as 4-star, but from our stay it didn't meet even a basic 2-star standard. The towels, sheets, chairs and couches were old and stained. The sheets felt rough like sandpaper, and there was hair on the floor that wasn't ours, along with food crumbs from previous guests. Even the “new” slippers had yellow stains and felt very unhygienic. We were moved to three rooms, but none was okay. The first smelled strongly of smoke and hadn't been aired out. The second had broken air conditioning, and staff argued with us instead of helping. The third still had dirty floors and stained furniture. It was a very disappointing and distressing experience. Do NOT recommend.

The staff were attentive, and the location is great, in the new city center near plenty of shops and restaurants. Breakfast was good, with a nice view from the top floor. The coffee, though, was instant Nescafé.

We'd love to stay here again. It's a lovely hotel in Van, with clean rooms, tasty breakfasts and a very hospitable team. Ms. Tuba at reception and all her colleagues gave us such a warm welcome. Thank you!

The rooms were clean, service was friendly, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. The staff were cooperative and professional during our group stay at Rua World Hotel in Van. I was with 17 people, and overall I was satisfied with the hotel and its staff. What disappointed me was the management's handling of access to the entertainment area (eğlence alanı). Before booking, I'd clearly asked for our group to use it and was assured it would be available. Once we arrived and tried to plan our activities, we weren't allowed in as agreed. The poor coordination and mixed messages caused inconvenience and affected the experience. I hope the hotel gets better at honoring agreements and communicating clearly, as it could offer an even better stay. IG >> VAHIIM

Mr. Tuncer and the rest of the staff were especially helpful and well mannered, and my family and I spent three joyful nights here on a short trip to Van, turkey about a weak ago. The rooms were a little small but very clean. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of variety, and the location was great. If I return to Van, I'll definitely choose this hotel again.
