Sehrivan Hotel

This was probably the worst hotel stay I've ever had. The rooms were unbelievably filthy: the sheets smelled like someone had just slept in them, every sheet had awful stains, my towel had a horrible brown mark, and the carpet was disgusting. The window and toilet were broken too. The receptionist came into my room drunk and asked if I wanted whisky. Run away from this place. It's extremely expensive for what you get, especially when there are plenty of hotels nearby at the same price with rooms ten times better and breakfast included. The owner may say it was because of "renovation," but renovation has nothing to do with the lack of hygiene. It's just poor management. This place is horrible, dirty, and broken. SON DERECE KİRLİ.

I hate to say it, because the owner is a really good man who genuinely tries to help, but the hotel itself was by far the worst place I've ever slept, even counting a tent. I've traveled all around the world and this was the most disgusting of about 300 places I've visited. The sheets, room, shower toilet, and filthy slippers that looked like they'd been used since the 80s were just the start. Our friends got wet, smelly towels that were probably used by previous guests. The rooms reeked of heavy smoking. We slept on our own towels because the rest of the room was so filthy. It was freezing at night, and with the busy road outside, people were yelling and playing loud music almost until morning, so it was impossible to fall asleep. The interiors were old and ugly. I felt trapped back in time in a horror house. Out of respect for the owner, I wish I could write something good, but I can't.

I stayed one night. The hotel was simple and cheap. There were more rooms, but they were occupied at the time because there were so many passengers.
