Tamara Business Otel

The room was huge and clean, with lots of towels, plenty of hot water, fast wifi, and a kettle. It may not be the most modern place, but everything worked and we liked the atmosphere. We ended up needing a room at the last minute one evening, during a strange time in our lives, and Tamara Business Otel really came through for us. Everyone was kind, friendly, professional and polite, and they spoke good English. The breakfast buffet was big, varied and really tasty, with polite, smiling staff. We stayed two nights and I'd happily return.

We spent three miserable days here. My room was meant to be one of the “best,” which was a joke, and other rooms apparently had cockroaches or water leaking from the ceiling. The internet was bad, breakfast was terrible, and the atmosphere was horrible. A few staff members were decent, but they couldn't make up for it; some of the cleaning staff were rude and useless. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. You'd be better off on the street, which is cleaner and much more comfortable.

The employees were kind and tried to help, but I think the problem is with management or the owner, maybe too few workers or too little money. We stayed two nights, and the rooms were extremely dirty. There was a used, dirty hand towel and paper tea cups left in the room, and I can't even describe the bathroom. I took the towel and cup to reception; they apologized and moved us. The new room was a little better, though still not good. This hotel has four stars, but I don't believe it deserves them.

The loud music kept us awake until 03:45 AM, and this was the worst part of our trip in the east, even though we'd visited much poorer cities. I can't recommend this place. It's disgusting that it advertises itself as a four-star hotel: the rooms smell bad, and the walls and bathrooms are dirty. The shower didn't work in our first room. We were about to leave for somewhere else, but they said we had to pay because we were already in the system, which felt scammy. The next room had a working shower, but after one toilet use it wouldn't flush, so we had to use the disgusting hallway toilet. I've attached proof of the rooms' horrible condition.
