The suite, no. 23, was spacious and clean, and the resort felt elegant and well cared for. We’d first been drawn in by videos on social media. We also enjoyed the food, especially Hodan by the sea. The staff were very kind, and selin helped us so thoughtfully. We’re very happy we came and highly recommend it. A few suggestions: restrict outside access to the beach to reduce crowds, perhaps raise the children’s age limit, and work on English skills. Giovanna and Luca.

Our wedding weekend at Avantgarde Refined Hotel became the best day of our lives. The team supported us through every stage, and the communication, hospitality, service, comfort, and atmosphere all exceeded what we’d imagined. Our guests especially enjoyed the breakfast, beach, food, and ambience. A special thank you to Burak, Selin, Murat, Eren, and everyone on the restaurant, hospitality, and beach teams. We’d absolutely recommend Avantgarde Refined to couples considering a wedding venue.

The air-conditioning made a real difference to our stay. On four of our seven nights, we couldn’t sleep well because the room remained too warm. Maintenance would get it down to about 20-22°C for a while, but within hours it rose to 24-25°C, warmer than outdoors at night. At around $500 a night, dependable AC should be expected. Unless this is properly fixed, I can’t see us returning. We stayed for seven nights in September 2025, two adults with our 18-month-old. The hotel is modern, clean, thoughtfully designed, and conveniently located. Our room matched the description, was spotless, and had enough space. The gym, beach, bars including the matcha bar, and other facilities were all in great condition. Staff were welcoming, helpful, and good with children, though English could be difficult at times. Service was fine but less personal than at other hotels in this price range. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, though fairly basic for the nightly cost, more like a decent three-star business hotel in central Europe.

We spent nearly the whole stay in an overheated room because the hotel was full and couldn’t move us or refund us so we could go elsewhere. For four nights in midsummer, the air-conditioning didn’t work. We reported it each day and were repeatedly told it had been fixed, but it hadn’t. A manager only got involved on day 5, and the AC still wasn’t working properly. This was a Sea View Suite costing nearly €900 a night. The noise was another problem. There seemed to be no sound isolation, and we woke each morning to children screaming, vacuuming, or people shouting. It wasn’t the restful luxury stay we expected. The service and response to a serious issue were poor, with no accountability. The whole experience was a nightmare for the price, and I would never return. I’d advise others to look elsewhere.
