Aronia Bungalow

Our child enjoyed the horse riding, and the view was wonderful. We stayed over Eid with my wife and child, but cockroaches were a real problem. There were dead ones on the floor when we first entered, and even after the room was cleaned on day two, we found more. At night, one was alive on the bed. Breakfast was short for two adults and a child, and they charged us when we asked for extra bakery items.

The views from the bungalow porch, over the city, sea, and mountains, were so relaxing. The bungalows blend into the natural setting but still have modern essentials, and ours was spotless. There’s an animal farm nearby, a picnic area, and a well-served food venue. Breakfast was generous. This was the first place I’ve stayed that looked even better in person than in the photos. I’d gladly return.

We especially enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant, the food was tasty and really good. Big thanks to omar and senaa, the rest of the restaurant team, and especially the woman at the front office. It’s a quiet, pleasant place, and the staff are always smiling and ready to help. We had a great time there.

We stayed at Aronia Bungalow for six weeks, from mid-September through the end of October 2024, after traveling from Canada. Burak at reception speaks very good English and patiently helped us book directly. When we arrived, manager Kaya, Burak, and night receptionist Oznur welcomed us. The peaceful rural setting has wonderful views of the Marmara Sea, with Istanbul visible in the distance. Yalova, a pretty seaside town with fast ferries to Istanbul, is a short drive away, and the resort also runs shuttle trips there in a luxury minivan with Recep driving. Our cabin was very clean, well equipped, and regularly refreshed by the cheerful cleaning staff, Perihan and Gulden. There’s an equestrian center where Murat expertly guided the horse rides, plus a small farm with cows, sheep, geese, and chickens. A lovely green forest with hiking trails sits behind the resort. We started each day with a delicious, filling organic breakfast. Manager Riza abey and waiters Cengiz, Sude, and Eda greeted us warmly each morning, and chefs Gulshen and Helin are wonderful cooks. The stay went far beyond what we expected. We’d highly recommend Aronia Bungalows to anyone looking for a peaceful, relaxing vacation and royal treatment.
