Beksiti Hotel

Breakfast was good, with plenty of different foods to choose from, and the price was very suitable. It’s a quiet place for spending a few nights. The staff were friendly, smiling, and always ready to help.

The rooms were ordinary, but they had flies and mosquitoes. We were seven in the family and planned to take three twin rooms, with the seventh person being a child. They charged us extra, saying the child needed a bed, and the amount was more than we’d agreed on over the phone. The next day, the men went to pray Jummah and told reception we were heading to the mosque. When we got back, the women told us the hotel had cut the electricity instead of waiting for us to return and pay for the next day. Thank God it was our last day there. When I asked housekeeping for an extra pillow, they said they didn’t provide them. I pointed out that hotel beds normally have two pillows, but they replied, “You got what you paid for,” even though we’d already been overcharged. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone

The location is peaceful, not too far from downtown, with restaurants and grocery stores next door. There’s also a nearby masjid for Muslim tourists. The prices are reasonable, the rooms are clean, and room service is excellent. The staff were nice, especially the receptionist, Mr. Ali. A very nice hotel, highly recommended.

Breakfast was great when we stayed, before Covid 19. We first came in July 2019, shortly after the hotel opened, since our relatives live next door. For what we paid, we were pleasantly surprised by how nice and clean it was, and by the people running it. We had some trouble communicating because the staff spoke only Turkish, apart from one person who wasn’t always there. I can’t complain, since it is a Turkish hotel, and I expect that may have changed by now. We started using Google translation afterwards, so language wouldn’t be an issue if we went back.
