Sabel Villas

The room we got didn't match the one we'd booked online. When we raised it, the staff kept insisting it was the same, which was infuriating. They offered a checkout one hour later, then looked at the room and said it was identical to the photo. There's no point treating people like idiots, and this whole situation says a lot. It's appalling. The gap under the door was so large that anyone passing could easily guess what was inside. Security is zero. Wide-angle photos and videos for Instagram don't make up for that. The room I'd booked looked exactly like the poolside photo, and they kept saying there was no difference between the listing and reality. If you're thinking of staying here, think 100 times before coming, not just twice.

We were tired of self-catering bungalows, and the restaurant next to the hotel was such a good find. Apparently it's the best breakfast place in Yalova. Breakfast was included and buffet style, and they could prepare it in the room so we could sit at a set table. Everyone at the restaurant was attentive, and we loved the concept. Even with it being -3 degrees Celsius, we enjoyed the heated pool at 37-38 degrees Celsius and didn't feel cold after getting out. The rooms were beautifully designed. My wife and I had a wonderful two-day stay and are sure we'll return. Special thanks to Mr. Kaan, Ms. Sevgi, and Mr. Ali for their attentiveness.

The projection system gave the evening a proper cinema feel, and both the breakfast and restaurant food were delicious. We also loved having a warm pool and a room with a hairdryer, kettle, tea, and coffee. It was our second visit, and my wife, our dog, and I come for a three-day break each year. The staff were so friendly and attentive, checked in about what we needed, and cleaned the room every day. Being able to bring our dog meant a lot. It was a peaceful, really enjoyable holiday. Thank you for welcoming our furry friends!

We asked for a refund and left after just two hours. Thankfully, we got our money back. The family in the villa across from us also left within two hours because of the pool temperature, and had to take their children home. The rooms weren't very clean or tidy, and the pool looked dirty. We arrived last Saturday hoping to spend one night at Sabel Villas with friends. The pool was only lukewarm, impossible to swim in during that cold weather. We called reception again and again, but got evasive answers, or no answer at all. They kept promising it would be fixed within a certain time, but nothing changed. A pool can't be heated in an hour anyway. After reading reviews, I got the impression they tell people who've never used a heated pool that this is as hot as pools get, while giving other excuses to people who know it's not warm enough. They told us there was a fault. What we understood was that the pool is always lukewarm and isn't heated properly. A properly heated pool is hot enough to give off steam. The staff's response was awful and indifferent, and they showed no embarrassment about the problem. We moved to a nearby bungalow that cost half as much as Sabel. The people there were much friendlier, and the pool was genuinely warm. Don't spend this much and spoil your weekend here. I'd never recommend Sabel. It's a truly terrible place that takes no responsibility for problems and shows no respect for customers.
