Bellissimo Boutique Hotel

Parking is first come, first served, otherwise you have to leave the car on the road. My stay was fine until checkout, when they said I'd stained their pillows and kept my deposit. It felt like a scam because the stains were already there when we met them. They'll be getting a pre-action protocol letter, with litigation pending.

The pool was clean, the food was on point, and the staff gave amazing service. It's a nice hotel.

Breakfast on day two was great and professionally prepared for 8 a.m. After that, though, the receptionist pleasantly asked when we could leave so the AC men could service our room. I had to rush out with my family earlier than expected, which wasn't good at all. There was no towel change or garbage collection, and when they asked if we needed towels, obviously there should have been towels in the room. I respected the no-smoking rule indoors, but there was no smoking area, so I had to walk by the road. On arrival, we waited to see if the room was ready because the AC men were working. It was ready at 2:10 p.m. The cupboard was broken when we got there. There was no dishwashing detergent, so I went downstairs to ask for some, and they gave me a glass jar that clearly wasn't enough. No kitchen towel or J-cloth either. The fridge was hot because they'd only just plugged it in, and the AC unit wasn't working properly. We were going home on day three, and I don't think I'd return. Maybe only because it's cheap. I hope I get my $300 deposit back. ☹️

The rooms were clean and comfortable at this cozy, beautiful spot by the beach. It's very close to Buccoo Bay and the Sunday afternoon party, the famous goat race.
