The bed was comfortable and the location was good. Those were the only positives for me. There was no wifi in the rooms, only in the lobby, so there was no privacy for calls with family and friends over the wifi. I'd avoid the restaurant. I ordered the Coast & Turf special, grilled pork and shrimp, and the pork was burnt, bitter and hard, smothered in some sauce I couldn't identify. The rice was overcooked and bland. I told the server, who seemed not to care, and still paid even though I couldn't eat it. At TT$300 plus a 12.5% service charge, I expected more. Worst overpriced food I've had the misfortune to try. Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't stay here. Never again.

The room was clean and the pool looked nice, but the wifi was poor. There was no kettle, which should be a basic amenity, and the AC leaked. The TV had no remote, and although there was an ironing board, there was no iron. Water pressure was poor too.

We came back for a second visit and weren't disappointed. The simple rooms have kitchens, and it's quiet even though the airport is nearby. The bar and restaurant look out over the beach, with sunset views. The pool is decent, though there are better beaches elsewhere.

This wasn't my first stay at Sandy point, and the rooms have always been clean. The staff are friendly and polite, and the customer service is great. Taste breakfast is consistently good. Keep up the good work, I'd recommend Sandy point village.

I called to ask for information, but the staff member seemed bothered and acted like I was taking up her time. It felt like pulling teeth just to get an answer. That first impression makes me wonder what the rest of a stay would be like.
