Crown Hotel Piarco

The staff were accommodating, and I had no other complaints. It's not far from the POS airport, but there was no ice or elevator, so I had to haul my luggage up the stairs.

It was just after midnight and they were ready to help us out. Our airport pickup driver was prompt, communicative and helpful, and the front desk lady was thorough and pleasant. She even offered a wakeup call so we could catch our flight. It's a great place for a layover, definitely more luxurious than the ordinary, and I'd easily recommend it. The one reason I took off a star was that our room was freezing, and there was a problem with the AC remote.

With Carnival prices high and places booked, this place was a lifesaver after an incident left me and a couple of others stranded in a foreign country, low on funds and needing somewhere to stay. Hannah, beautiful and amazing, greeted us, understood our situation, and worked with us. She kept checking that we were okay day in and day out. Some of us left before Carnival because of the situation, and the shuttle took us to the airport each time. When I needed to go somewhere, she found a taxi for me, called it right up, and let us back in when we returned. Her manager, Juliet, was so understanding and accommodating. I plan to return to Trinidad, and this is the place I'd choose, knowing they'll take care of me. The room was clean and spacious, with clean beds, and everything worked, including the hot water. Thank you so much for looking after me and my friends during such a stressful time. You really made a difference to my trip 🙏🏾💕

The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the hotel is only a few minutes from the airport. There was also a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. I was told they'd pay for my cab from the airport to the hotel, but they didn't. The room was very minimal, with no cups, utensils or wash cloths. Wifi went out often and wasn't dependable. I ordered fried rice from the restaurant. There was plenty of it, but it was bland and a bit mushy. The menu prices were out of date, and the clerk had to look up the real prices on their computer. None of the desserts listed were available. I don't know if they were out at the time or just hadn't updated the menu.
