Breakfast in the garden, watching the birds, is a treat. The garden itself is such a joy, and Peter is a great host with first rate hospitality. I've stayed here before and kept dreaming of coming back. Now I've returned again, two years later, and again two years after that. Sitting on the veranda eating roti, with a warm breeze, tropical flowers in the air, and cicadas in the Trees, makes me forget all about snow and ice.

The outdoor seating area is one of my favourite places, just sitting there listening to the birds. The hosts are amazing and really go the extra mile. It's a fabulous spot, with a beautiful garden full of trees, flowers and birds. This is my second time here 😀👍

Amazon Lodge is closed and holding an estate sale. I don't know whether it will reopen.
