The meals were great, and the clean, comfortable A-frame “tent” worked well for us. Nothing to complain about.

We stayed as a family of four adults and three kids in two glass houses, and it worked perfectly. The tents were comfortable, with beds like you'd expect at a hotel, and it was easy to reach by car. Puu and her mother were wonderful hosts. They shared some Tsou culture and traditions while making great food, including home-baked bread for some breakfasts. They also gave us helpful tips for hikes and nearby neighborhoods. Bring enough mosquito repellent, including something that works against biting midges. We’d definitely return to Hamoana if we visit Alishan again. Thanks for the lovely memories!
