The walking and hiking trails here are beautiful, with waterfalls, streams, a lake, and lovely bridges. This is the falls area, where you'd want to go no matter where you're staying nearby, so you'll be paying for a taxi or train to get here anyway. If you stay at this hotel, the gondola ride is included, and you can head to dinner and your room instead of going back to a lesser hotel. For this whole region, the location is the best.

I didn't stay at the hotel, just explored the complex. The round trip by cable car cost NTD 300.00. There's lots of greenery, and since it was raining when I visited, the place felt mysterious and peaceful. I only walked around, though there are activities like boating and archery. I also spotted wild monkeys foraging near the cable car area.

I came to explore the area and eat at the hotel's restaurant, but didn't stay there. It's the sort of place to stay if you want nature and some distance from people. There are no roads, so access is by cable car only. Around the mountains and waterfalls, the hotel has added guest attractions, including a scenic lake for canoeing, photo spots, and an archery range.

Way too many stairs, seriously. The hotel is very old, maybe 70 years, and poorly maintained. It felt scary. The cable car ride just to see nothing impressive was a waste of my time and money. Never going back!

We didn't stay at the hotel, but got to walk the trails and see both natural and man-made sights. The cable car ride past the huge Waterfalls was magnificent. There are activities for adults and kids, too, including boating on the lake, archery, feeding fish, and bumper cars. If you enjoy nature, you'll like the atmosphere here, and it's a nice escape from city life and all its bustle.
