Long Yun Farm

The staff were so helpful and gave excellent service. They went out of their way to rush us to the bus stop, even though it was past the agreed time. Such a great experience. 🙏🙏

The dinner was excellent, with plenty of vegetables they’d grown themselves. The dishes are served to your table rather than buffet-style, so the variety depends on how many people are staying with you. The rooms were nice and clean, though the towels were very small, supposedly for environmental reasons. We enjoyed the mochi event and the night outings, but the night excursion was quite short, about 30 minutes. The views were very nice.

The hotel has beautiful, distinctive rooms, but that was about all we liked. There were only a few guests because of the recent typhoon. Dinner and breakfast are provided, but they were basic, so we went to a nearby restaurant for a delicious hotpot instead. Hot water was limited to about five hours in the evening and two hours early in the morning, with none after 8 a.m. We expected somewhere quiet, tucked away from noise, but hotel staff started blowing leaves around 6 a.m. and woke everyone up. It left us with a negative feeling and seemed like there was no sense of customer service.

The countryside air in the morning was lovely and fresh. It’s a simple, cozy place for an overnight stay, with the basic amenities provided, and it was quieter and better soundproofed than other hotels. My one personal gripe is that breakfast was too sparse and simple.
