The host and the local staff were very friendly.

It was quiet, and the mattresses were comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. The owner was really friendly and quick to respond whenever we needed something. Since it was chilly partway up the mountain, she even made mutton soup to warm us up.

When we arrived for our booking, we were told there were no rooms available. By then it was too late to arrange another place, which threw off our plans and left us without a proper night’s sleep. They had no solution for us, and I was at a loss. Call ahead to confirm availability so you don’t end up disappointed.

We booked the whole building for ten people. The owner was pleasant, but the conditions were really poor. Ants had swarmed in three of the five rooms, and even after insecticide was sprayed, they came back out in the middle of the night. Of the bathrooms, one faucet was broken, another had no water, and the third had no hot water. I ended up catching a cold after a cold shower. The towels were dirty, even though we usually bring our own. None of the room doors locked, so we had to carry valuables down to the barbecue area. There were cobwebs all over the bar. The tableware was there, but we had to wash it ourselves to avoid getting diarrhea.
