Timios Inn.

I was impressed by how much was available here. There’s free breakfast, plus a little bar where you can mix your own drinks. On the second floor, a large shared kitchen has plates, pans, forks, spoons, free coffee and tea, and small snacks. There’s also a little kitchen for cooking. You can’t bring other people into your room or eat and drink there, but the shared kitchen is a good place for that. It’s close to the train station, clean, and run by friendly staff. The bathrooms and showers are shared with guests on each floor, but they were very clean. You change shoes when you get to your floor, and they provide slippers and small lockers for your shoes. It’s Taiwan, so I didn’t worry about anyone stealing anything. Two thumbs up. I’d recommend it to solo travelers or anyone who doesn’t want to share a room.

Everything felt clean and minimal, and the Inn is new and well maintained. The bed was comfortable with a firm pillow. The showers and toilets are shared, but they’re kept extremely well too. A good choice if you want somewhere clean and well managed.

I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Taiwan, and this was the best. Great value for the money, and craft beer is available.

It was quiet and very clean. Just remember you need to switch into their slippers before entering your room or the lounge. The toilet also has features for guests with disabilities.
