Mambo Impression Motel

It was pretty cheap, but this was the smokiest motel I’ve ever stayed at. My room was on the first floor, and the moment I stepped in, there was a heavy perfume smell, like it was meant to cover the smoke. The pillows and blankets smelled awful. I couldn’t sleep all night. The door opened straight onto the garage, so I left it open all night. There were hardly any outlets, and none by the bed, which was a huge hassle. A miserable night.

The comforter reeked of sweat, and the bath towel had gone from white to gray. Disgusting.

Breakfast was included, and it was tasty and pretty good. We also got two bowls of instant noodles when we checked in, a thoughtful touch. The bathtub was a nice bonus. And it was generous of them not to charge extra if we didn't want an extra bed.

We were visiting friends in Chaozhou, and our family of five, with kids aged 8, 7, and 2, got a very reasonable price. They were very polite on the phone. The room was fantastic and had a jacuzzi. The kids said it was the happiest day of their stay!
