Kuro, an adorable greeter, made us feel welcome along with the very friendly owners. Our room was roomy and clean, with the shower separate from the toilet and excellent soundproofing. Breakfast came with the rate, and the owner’s wife made homemade bagels that were delicious. It was good value and conveniently located. After arriving in the evening, we walked to the hot spring park to see the Sichongxi art installation, less than ten minutes away. My top accommodation recommendation in Checheng!

The room was spacious and comfortable, especially the bed. Our son had a whole large bed to himself and slept right through until morning. The owners of Pisces Homestay welcomed us warmly on our first day, and the very enthusiastic Kulo was so cute. The next morning the owner made breakfast by hand: homemade bread, white fungus with barley, and German sausages made by her brother-in-law, all delicious. Chatting with the owners made us want to stay and talk longer, haha. You can see how much they’ve put into everything, from the outside and interior to the little details in the food. Maybe that’s why the place feels so relaxed and comfortable. We’d visit again if we get the chance. Thanks for the warm hospitality, Pisces Homestay ❤️

The owners put real care into breakfast, and the kids loved it. Even the boiled eggs had yolks like soft-boiled eggs. The whole guesthouse felt quiet and cozy, with a roomy, well-insulated room and a great bed. Honestly, this is the most comfortable place I’ve stayed, even better than a hotel.
