The owner is friendly and loves a chat. Ask and they’ll tell you about the cherry blossom festival. Weekends tend to be quite full, so a weekday visit is probably a better bet.

The little insects were noticeable, probably because the room is close to the mountains. Dinner’s gout hot pot was delicious, but breakfast was very average.

There’s a separate playroom in the family room, which is a thoughtful extra, and the room itself is quite big. Still, it was hard to get everything clean in such a large space. The floor felt dusty, and after walking barefoot for a while my feet were black.
