Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the kids loved the bathtub, although the toilet bowl leaked. We stayed one night in a family room for four, and for such a steep price I expected basic things like a shaver and toothbrush to be available on request. They weren’t, and you have to pay for them. I understand the environmental reason for not putting them in the room, but the hotel could consider providing them when requested, depending on how many male guests are staying. Breakfast was mostly Taiwanese-style, with bread and salad too. They use Starbucks beans, so the coffee wasn’t bad. There weren’t enough seats when we were there, though, and we had to share a table. Be prepared for that on a weekend night. There’s an indoor kids’ play area outside the hotel, but it costs extra to use. The lobby cafe had nobody at the counter, food choices nearby were limited, and the bar food was costly.
